My friend Kathleen Gage of Power Up for Profits, posted this on Facebook today: "Regardless of where you reside, your age, gender, race, sexual orientation, education level, religious or spiritual beliefs you are experiencing some level of personal and/or professional transformation. Transformation is happening at an ever increasing rate; there’s no stopping it. Those who embrace this transformation will experience amazing shifts and an increase in their awareness. Those who do not will likely feel increased frustration, fear, anger and immobility. The choice is yours. It begins right here, right now.”
It instantly brought to mind a quote from Torah, with which most Jewish people are familiar. “ I put before you this day a blessing and a curse, choose life”. There is a lot of discussion around why the first part says blessing/curse, while the second says life. As this isn’t a religious studies class, I’m not going to get into the details of all that. More interesting to me is what it means from a secular perspective. And like Kathleen’s above, I feel like it means change or fail. When attending a labour, it might mean do something different or lack of progress won’t progress. During postpartum it might mean change the Mama or baby’s position, so a good latch can happen. And in business, it means ask for the help you need to get more visibility and greater reach, so you can keep doing this vitally important work. I can help you with that. Struggle less. Succeed more.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
